Mum pens hilarious sweary rant about husband's shopping fail

It's a well known saying that if you want something done right, you should do it yourself.

One woman learned this the hard way recently, after asking her husband to give her a helping hand.

After getting everything organised for the kids to go back to school at the end of summer, including putting name labels in all of the uniform, the mum-of-two delegated one remaining task to her hubby.

The "man child" as she calls him was asked to purchase some black shoes for their son to wear during P.E. lessons, reported The Mirror.

He later presented her with the shoes, but the mum was frustrated when she spotted his major shopping fail.

Instead of a pair of Plimsolls, her husband had bought a pair of girl's black  school  shoes, with a flower on them.

While they're very nice, they're not exactly what their son needed for gym class.

To vent her disappointment, the mum took to  Facebook  to share a sweary rant about the situation - and fellow parents found it incredibly relatable.

Writing on her blog  Sweary Mum to 2 and a Man-child  she said: "Not even f***ing joking you. B starts school in two days. Two b*****ding days.

"I’ve organised his school uniform. I’ve organised those little name stickers that stick to f***ing everything. I’ve bought a school bag. I bought him a personalised water bottle. I bought him a gym kit bag. I got him his school shoes.

"And I say to man child... 'Can you please order him the gym shoes please for school?'

"Because he can’t possibly f**k up black gym shoes can he...

"But it’s man-child... look what the f***ing t**t orders... and for anyone who doesn’t know... B is a boy!!!"

Numerous mums  commented on the post to say how her words had hit close to home - and  amused  them.

One said: "Aww doll this is a peach ..... brilliant. Never leave a man in charge of school stuff. Lesson learned."

Another replied: "I honestly can’t cope. Tell me he at least lied and said they’d sent the wrong ones."

A third wrote: "I can't believe that you actually trusted Man-Child to get this right."

"Absolutely crying with laughter," posted someone else.
