A mum-of-two has been found dead after vanishing more than two years ago.
Christina Rack, 48 went missing in October 2018 after leaving her house in Bolesworth Close in Chorlton, Manchester.
It's understood the mum-of-two was meeting her son for a walk in woodland at Chorlton Meadows.
Dog walkers found her body on April 13 in the Chorlton Ees Nature Reserve area close to the River Mersey, the Birmingham Live reported.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances around her death, the force said in a statement issued today (May 28), reports the MEN.
"Christina's family wish to thank all those that have supported in the search for Christina since she was reported missing", the statement added.
After her disappearance, police officers searched Sale Water Park and the surrounding area as part of the investigation.
Christina was understood to suffer with mental health problems and she left her home without her medication.
In October 2018, her brother Martin told the M.E.N : "There was nothing to suspect that she was going to disappear.
"There was no issue, no argument within the family which had come to a head.
"She had mental health issues and had been on medication and there was some indication the week before that she was getting a bit anxious."
Detectives are urging anyone with information about Christina's disappearance to get in touch with them.
