Mum-of-six, 34, pregnant with seventh child dies suddenly at home

A mum-of-six pregnant with her seventh child has died suddenly at home.

Lindsey Ann Hughes, 34, is believed to have suffered a heart attack in the kitchen of her home in Anglesey, North Wales, on March 27.

The mum from Pencraig, Llangefni, leaves behind her "heartbroken" children, who are aged between one and 16, and devastated parents and friends.

Her friend Helen Evans described her as "full of life" and a "brilliant mother," the Daily Post reports.

Mrs Evans is now hoping to raise funds to help support Ms Hughes' children.

Lindsey was said to have been a fun mum loved by her family and community (Gofundme)

She said: "She was always up for mischief - she was 34 but very young at heart.

"She was very family orientated and rarely went out.

"Whenever I saw her she was always ready for a gossip and a joke, it's all very sad.

"Lindsey was a fun loving girl with always a smile on her face.

"She was a devoted mother and partner, caring daughter and joyful sister - her death has left a massive hole in so many people's lives."

It understood Ms Hughes' parents have now moved in to care for her six heartbroken children, Carly, 16, Lennox, 15, Holly, 11, Poppy, six, Jaxton, two, and one-year-old Xavi.

The news of her death has led to an outpouring of grief in the close-knit community where she lived.

Dozens of people posted tributes on social media expressing their shock at her death.

One said: "Such sad news that Lindsey Ann Hughes has passed away, known you since we were little kids, Pencraig and Llangefni will not be the same without you.

"Your kids were your world. Thinking of all your family and your children. Gone too soon. Will miss your smile. RIP beautiful woman and baby bump."

The family have set up a GoFundMe page here.
