For many parents, teaching one baby at a time to use the toilet is no easy task. But for those parents with twins, triplets, or more, having them all reach potty training age at the same time can be a real nightmare.
One mum on TikTok who has been feeling the strain of having four children to potty train at once is 31-year-old Dayna, who has a total of five children under the age of five, including quadruplets.
Dayna is mum to four-year-old Lincoln and gave birth to her four youngest children, Willow, Otto, Willis, and Simon, back in 2019.
The mum's quadruplets are not yet potty-trained because they're not "ready", but that hasn't stopped trolls from claiming Dayna must be "lazy" and not doing her best to get them to use the toilet.

In one video on her @helloquadruplets account, Dayna shared a comment she had received from a fellow mum who slammed her abilities as a parent because her children are currently still in nappies.
Text on the screen from Dayna's perspective read: "Me trying to explain to internet trolls that I can't force my quadruplets to potty train if they aren't ready."
While another shot quoted a negative comment she had received, which read: "Stop being lazy a** mum just tell them to use the toilet it's that simple."

Dayna explained in the comments that while it might sound logical to potty train the quadruplets one at a time, it doesn't work in practice because they all want to go together.
Replying to one comment, she said: "We tried that, but they notice when one leaves and all want to go."
Other commenters on the video were shocked by the response from trolls, as they insisted it's often impossible to "just tell" children to do something they're not ready for.
Someone said: "I tried with my twins multiple times and had no luck. Tried again when they were three and a few months, and bam. Potty trained in a few days. You know them best!"
As another added: "Oh yes ... just 'tell them'. When has telling children to do anything worked?"
While a third said: "Coming from someone who used to work at a Montessori school and part of my job was to help potty train, they will not co-operate until they are ready!"
Dayna also said she doesn't plan on rushing her children into being potty trained, as she added: "Yes! I don’t see why everyone is in such a rush, it’s easier as they get older I think."
