The mum of a 21-year-old woman pictured partying with Wayne Rooney has raised questions about the age gap with the footballer as he's 'nearly 40'.
Tayler Ryan, Elise Melvin and Brooke Morgan were reported to be with the 35-year-old former England star after a night of clubbing.
Photos of their evening caused a stir online and showed the married dad-of-four in a chair in a £60-a-night Manchester hotel as the women danced around in their underwear.
One flashed her bottom next to the Derby County manager – then posted it online, captioning it “Mooney Rooney”.
Another photo shows one of the group posing in a G-string and baring her bottom next to his head.
Now Angela Ryan, the mum of Snapchat model Tayler, questioned why Rooney was partying with 21-year-olds in the first place.
She told The Sun : "The poor girls were just going out for a 21st birthday. They’re 21 and he’s nearly 40.
“It’s upset them all, they’re in tears - she’s a good girl and comes from a decent family and they thought they were being funny but I’ve told them it was absolutely stupid."
Friends earlier claimed the 21-year-olds were invited to his VIP booth at trendy Chinawhite club in Manchester.
The women - out celebrating a birthday - "were flattered" and joined the football manager on his table.
Rooney is claiming he feared being blackmailed over the pictures of him asleep.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told the Mirror this morning: "We have received a complaint of blackmail which we are reviewing."
There is no suggestion the women, who were seen joking around in the images, were knowingly involved in any criminal activity.
Since the photos emerged the star's wife Coleen has been spotted enjoying a holiday in Wales with the couple's four sons, the four sons, Kit, Kai, Cass and Klay.
