Mum-of-22 Sue Radford lifts lid on homeschooling chaos during Covid lockdown

The mum of Britain's biggest family has lifted the lid on the chaos that is homeschooling in her busy household.

Sue Radford, who has 22 children with husband Noel, has to round up their nine school-age offspring every morning before monitoring their work and sometimes teach lessons.

The 45-year-old parent who, along with her family first shot to fame on 2012 Channel 4 documentary 15 Kids and Counting, posted a video to YouTube showing her lockdown 'school run'.

She admitted it "couldn't get any worse" as she dashed about making sure everyone was ready for their morning Zoom lessons.

"Anyone else’s kids like this?" she says. "You have to prise them out of bed."

In previous videos and photos, Sue and Noel, 50, have shown how the dining room table in their huge Morecambe, Lancashire, home is often transformed into a classroom desk.

And in the latest offering, the exhausted mum is seen troubleshooting computers as her children prepare themselves for a day of work.

"Tell you what, I will be so glad when homeschooling is finished.

"I don’t know about anybody else but I am just so ready for them to go back to school.

"I am finding it really hard work especially when we’ve got so many to homeschool it’s just not been easy.

"The secondary school ones have not been too bad. They just do their own thing but primary school it’s just hard work.

"But we’re all in the same boat aren’t we?"

Sue and Noel currently live with 19 of their brood in a converted care home, while also running a bakery.

Daughter Millie, 19, gave birth to her first child Ophelia in September, while Sue's youngest Heidie was born in April.
