A mum has turned her son’s boring bedside table into an amazing VW campervan that would fit any stylish home.
And the best thing? It comes with working headlights.
The Mirror found her work on the DIY on a Budget Facebook group, where the crafter shared her process of transforming the piece of furniture.
The original table was a simple, mahogany-brown, wooden cabinet, with dull round knobs.
But after a few coats of blue and white paint to create the base of the vehicle, then a dove grey paint to serve as windshields and finally moving the handles to look like indicators, the unit is now a true hippy camper dream.
And we love the way the handles have been made to look like wipers!
But the best thing remains the working LED headlights that make this table like no other.
Other members of the group were suitably impressed, liking it thousands of times and adding hundreds of comments.
One wrote: “That’s fantastic well done you.”
“Fantastic absolutely stunning,” said another.
A third added: “Stunning! Which kid wouldn't want that?”
And now I want to make one for myself.
