A savvy mum transformed some 99p dining room chairs into a magical Harry Potter experience for her children and grandchildren.
Support worker Linda Mills, from Rotherham, 59, picked up Potter-themed tote bags from Poundland and cheap chairs from eBay, then headed to her local market for some material to complete the effect.
The four-piece dining chair set cost her a miserly 99p from eBay, while the tote bags were a pound a piece at Poundland .
She also added that anyone thinking upcycling their own furniture should always remember to spray the upholstery to make it fireproof.
“Usually what I do is pug-related furniture for local pug charities so Harry Potter was a bit of a departure from the norm," she told The Sun .
As well as adding the Poundland bags on the seat backs, she painted the chairs with chalk paint she already had and reupholstered the seat with Potter-themed cloth costing £5 a meter at a Rotherham market.
“It's not difficult but you do need to be patient - especially getting the old covering off,” Linda explained.
Although she did also get a little help from a friend.
“[My upholstery knowledge] is largely self-taught and my friend Jenny helped me as well," she said.
The chairs were made with her daughter Claire, 38, in mind - whose three children all all love Harry Potter.
Linda's excellent work also proved hugely popular with other mums and grans on social media.
Photos of the chairs on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group were liked more than 11,000 times - attracting 2,600 comments within just three hours of being posted.
