Mum likes to 'twin' with her two young daughters by wearing the same outfits

This mum of two matches with her two young daughters by buying them all the same outfits.

Hebe Axon, 25, a part time accountant, buys outfits for herself, and daughters Isla, two and a half, and Hallie, who is 10 months.

The trend started when she had her first daughter, Isla, and continued after Hallie was born.

She said: "We tend to match outfits every day, unless I have to be in work."

However, Hebe doesn't always get a say on what the trio will be wearing.

She said: "Isla is quite good at choosing outfits.

"Depending on the weather, I might give her a few options and she'll choose what she wants to wear, then me and Hallie just go with it.

"Isla can be quite sassy."

She's also tried to get her partner and dad-of-two, Sam Finch, 25, in on the action, but he's not as impressed as their daughters.

She said: "We have a set of matching swimming costumes, and he's got trunks with the same pattern, but he refuses to wear them.

"I've also got us all matching Christmas jumpers as well, so we'll see if I can get him in one of them later this year."

The trio can be seen in all sorts of patterns, from tartan to stripes and other bold prints.

Hebe said: "My favourite at the moment is a black and red long sleeved dress we all have.

"It's the one I bought most recently.

"To be honest, I think the newest one is always my favourite, until I see something else in the shop and that's my new favourite."

Enjoying twinning with her daughters isn't the only reason Hebe buys them matching clothes.

She said: "It's also a safety thing.

"If Isla's run off while we're out, and someone has seen all wearing matching outfits earlier, they know I'm her mum."

Hebe knows that their days matching are numbered.

She said: "It does make me sad to think one day Isla won't want to match with me.

"I think when they're older I'll try and keep matching what colours they're wearing, just for me.

"But obviously they can just do what they want."
