A mum and social media influencer felt humiliated after no-one turned up to her well-planned baby shower.
Annie said she was left feeling heartbroken and embarrassed after discovering that her own mother had not even showed up to the big day.
The parent who goes by the handle @agkrogmeier01 on TikTok, shared a devastating video of herself in tears while holding her newborn baby after the event.

The Mirror reports that in the clip Annie explained that someone else had planned the baby shower on her behalf and said she had invited a bunch of people who all said they would be attending.
"I was so embarrassed. My own mum didn't even show," she wrote in the caption, before adding: "Had a baby shower today just to wait there looking stupid, and end up having nobody show."
Many other TikTok users rushed to the comments section to offer support to the new mum, with many even offering to send gifts her way.
"This is where you move away and forget to tell them," one TikTok user suggested. "Find somewhere with love and support. Blood doesn't equal love all of the time."
Another added: "Just remember your baby loves you more than anyone else ever could. Honour that baby by doing better for your baby than your mum did for you. That's what I'm doing for my daughter."
Unfortunately not everyone was quite so supportive, with several TikTokers suggesting Annie's story didn't quite add up.
"So a family member planned this, invited people and literally not one person showed up? Definitely not doubting your story, just seems bizarre," one wrote.
Annie replied: "That is why I was so surprised and disappointed, I invited a good amount of people and nobody showed."
