Mum left covered in son's tiny footprints after hysterical fake tan fail

All mums deserve some self-care and pamper time, but its not always easy to squeeze it in when you've got a little one to run around after all day.

Quickly covering herself in a bit of fake tan before heading to bed, mum and fashion guru Bridgett Hart was hoping her snappy beauty routine would leave her with a stunning golden glow in the morning.

However, the application didn't quit go to plan - with the end result leaving her in hysterics, according to the Mirror.

As her husband was away for the night, the influencer slept in alongside her young son.

But when Bridett woke up, she soon realised her boy had - quite literally - left his mark on her.

In a video shared to her popular TikTok channel, Bridgette showed how her legs were covered with her son's tiny footprints, with the little boy having clearly pressed his feet against her legs in the night.

Barely able to contain her laughter as she showed her followers her legs, Bridgette - who goes by the username bridgettehart - said: "I know I get hot when they're in the bed with me, and I end up sweating, but I guess I didn't realise my kid was sweating on me too! Those are his footprints!"

Many of Bridgette's followers have been equally tickled by the hilarious yet very sweet fake tanning mishap, with many other mums being able to relate all too well.

One woman described the tan fail as "adorable", adding "my son always sleeps with his feet on me too", while another laughed, "my babies' toes always look like little Cheetos after I tan".

A third said: "This has happened to me too! My daughter had a brown spot on her leg and I thought it was a giant bruise!"

In a follow-up vid, made at the request of her amused followers, Bridgette showed the soles of her child's feet, which were indeed stained orange with fake tan.
