Everyone knows kids can be messy, and only take a moment to cause havoc when left unsupervised.
It can be enough to drive any parent up the wall - especially when you discover they've been drawing all over it.
But BirminghamLive reports parents in the UK have been saved by a handy trick from a mum a little further afield.
The mother, from Australia, has revealed her incredible hack for getting her house spotless once the kids have ran riot.
Jessica Hay's little boy is called Louis.
The three-year-old is a "schemer, thinker, plotter, escapist, creative genius and subtle sleuth", according to her Facebook post.
And cheeky Louis recently opted to decorate Jess' brand-new sofa - with her BRIGHT PINK LIPSTICK.
news.com.au reports Jessica told social media followers and friends: "On rainy days, I find him unexpectedly in the backyard because he's broken out through his sisters bedroom window.
"Just as I thought to myself, 'he's gone quiet', he walks into the kitchen looking like a vampire that’s had a great feast."
Little Louis had covered himself in lipstick after pinching it out of her bag.
She said: "As I followed this trail of red, I was met with the horrific scene.
"A complete massacre."
Thankfully, a panicking Jessica managed to rectify the problem - thanks to one particular product.
She discovered Morning Fresh washing up liquid, which you can buy in supermarkets from as little as £1, works a treat.
