A 'petrified' mother is issuing a plea to find her 15-year-old son who went missing after a family holiday. Denholm Farnworth left his home in Whalley Range, Manchester on Tuesday, April 25 as worried mum Sharon took her mother to a hospital appointment.
The teen has been missing for a week after he disappeared the day after the family returned from a 10 day holiday in Mallorca. Denholm is said to have left home without money or his medication as concerns for the teenager grow, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Sharon claims her son has not answered any calls from distressed family members and admits she is 'petrified' about her missing child.
She said: "It's been really tough. I'm petrified that he's going to get into something that he doesn't know how to get out of.
"He's a good kid, a great kid. He's very vulnerable.
"He likes to be the class clown, he'll always be at the centre of what's going on - that's what petrifies me. He's got no money for food, no money for anything."
Denholm, who is a student at Castlefield Campus, is believed to be in the Gorton area. He is described as 5ft 8ins tall, with blue eyes and of slim build, and Sharon believes he may have cornrows currently in his hair.
Greater Manchester Police is aware of the 15-year-old's disappearance and are urging anyone who sees Denholm or has information on his whereabouts to contact GMP on 101 or online.
