Mum issues desperate appeal to trace missing teenage daughter

A mum has shared an emotional appeal to trace her missing teenage daughter.

Bannerman High pupil Courtney Allan, 14 has been missing since Friday after she left her home in Easterhouse at around 12pm.

She is described as 5 ft 3 with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing jeans with a red and white stripe down the side, white Nike Air Force Ones and an oversized grey hoodie – though she may have more clothes to change into in her bag.

Her mum Amanda, 31, tells Glasgow Live: "She snuck out of the house, which she has done once before, but she has never been away this long. I had my back turned because I was organising stuff for my other daughter's birthday.

"She's been spotted in Castlemilk and she was seen in Bridgeton by herself at 3pm today – that's not a good place for a young girl to be herself. We need her to come home. "

If you spot Courtney, please contact Police Scotland on 101.

UPDATE: Courtney has been found.
