A mum couldn't stop laughing after child social services turned up to her house in a bizarre mix up.
The woman uploaded a video explaining the story to TikTok, and a host of other parents have been left cringing at the situation.
She said the misunderstanding led to social services knocking on her door based on concerns that her son George was being neglected.
As reported by Birmingham Live, she told viewers: "We've had a call regarding your son called George, of neglect.
"Here's a story to cheer everyone up if they're having a bad day."
The mum said: "She came in and sat down... anyway, I asked why and she said there was a call regarding my son called George.
"I said 'oh right', and she couldn't tell me who made the phone call.
"They always hear you telling your child that they're not allowed any more food and they've had enough meals today because you've already fed them and some shouting telling your child to 'go away, you've had enough' and so on.
"So I go upstairs trying not to laugh, to then present her with my fat, ginger lifesize cat called George.
"The woman looked at me and was like, 'Is this a joke?' I said, 'love, they should have called the RSPCA, not social services'."
"For the Karen who stuck her f**king nose in thinking I'm neglecting my child, George is actually a f**king cat, a very greedy f**king cat!" she said.
He gets fed three meals a day, without snacks in between, and steals whatever he can.
"So if I'm telling my cat to f**k off, please mind your business. Because when I tell you I'm going to stick Kevin in the oven, you'll think it's my f**king husband when in fact it's my chicken!"
