A mum said she was left "hysterical" after her daughter was knocked off her bike on the way home from school.
Denize said she "couldn't stop crying" after her 13-year-old daughter Harriet was hit by a car.
Speaking about the accident on 24hrs in A&E Denize said: "I panicked and just ran across the road, she was so pale and she wasn't moving.
"My husband cradled her head and she was just silent, I was hysterical, I couldn't stop crying, I was frightened to death."
Harriet's dad travelled to hospital with her in the ambulance while Denize followed behind.
Medics at the hospital said they were concerned because Harriet had passed out and that head injuries were very hard to recover from.
Harriet was not wearing a helmet when she had the accident, which made medics more concerned about a potential head injury.
Doctors were also concerned about injuries to Harriet's legs.
As the programme continued Denize explained how her and her husband had got married in 2000 and she became pregnant a year later.
But sadly Denize lost the baby and said she felt "like a failure."

Denize said she thought she wouldn't ever have a baby but then became pregnant with Harriet.
She said: "I was so excited I was having a girl and I bought a pink outfit that I put her in when she was born which she threw up on seconds later.

"She's always been very independent and head strong."
Touching scenes saw Harriet and Denize reunited in the hospital with Denize fussing over her.
Thankfully Harriet was eventually allowed to go home with Denize telling her to go slowly.
