Mum holds back screams as court shown CCTV of brutal machete murder of teen son

The mum of an innocent 15-year-old boy, killed by a gang outside a corner shop, had to hold back her screams as the horrific CCTV of his death was played out in court.

Jurors watched the clip on day two of the murder trial against five of the 14 men accused of being involved in the killing.

The footage shows six thugs drag Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz out of the bodega in the Bronx, New York, before hacking at him with knives and machetes.

It was a horrific case of mistaken identity and all the men on trial face life in prison.

The boy's mother Leandra Feliz speaking outside Bronx Supreme Court said: "I closed my eyes. It was torture, like killing me alive."

Mum jumped from clifftop with son, 5, killing both after losing custody battle

The clip taken from a police camera at around 11.30pm on Wednesday, June 20, last year shows Junior running into a shop, after being chased by two men.

The group drags him on to the street as he tries to cling on to the door frame, in a desperate bid to fight for his life.

He lands on the pavement and is set upon by the gang who repeatedly stab him.

Junior's family and friends were warned by prosecutors about the graphic nature of the footage before it was played.

His mother was seen putting her hand over her mouth as she stopped herself screaming and another woman crying uncontrollably had to leave the courtroom.
