A mum hid her pregnancy bump for nine months as it was so small it looked like she had 'just had a curry'.
Chelsea Smith, 26, and her husband Jack, 29, decided to keep the pregnancy a secret after a previous scare, the Daily Star reports.
Even though Chelsea saw her mum, sister and father-in-law every day, they still did not realise she was carrying her third child.
She was able to keep the pregnancy under wraps thanks to her lack of cravings and morning sickness.
The mother welcomed baby Bertie on January 31, weighing 5lb 7oz.
Chelsea, said: “I didn’t have any symptoms of pregnancy. No morning sickness, no cravings - not even a bump.
“Nobody had a clue. It just looked like I had a curry.
“It wasn’t like we were planning on playing a big joke on all our friends and family. I just liked the idea of keeping it to ourselves.”
After giving birth to Bertie, wedding photographer Chelsea, from Nantwich, Cheshire, was able to surprise her folks.
They visited Chelsea’s sister Holly and mum Gaynor and sent texts to her sisters with a picture of Bertie.
Chelsea, also mum to Susie, one, and Florence, two, laughed: “Only me and Jack knew. I don’t think many people could manage that nowadays!”
