Mum has monthly sex 'training days' with husband and rates his skills in bed

In long-term relationships, it can be easy to let the spark fizzle out.

You have busy lives, perhaps children to take care of and your bedroom antics and romance might get put on the back burner as a result.

But one mum has revealed how she and her husband keep their sex life "fresh" and "exciting" even with full-time jobs and two kids.

Blessing Platinum-Williams, an English teacher from Watford, first met her husband Michael in 2009 and claims back then they couldn't keep their hands off each other - having sex up to 13 times a week.

But after expanding their family, Blessing, 30, noticed that their sex life was waning, reports Daily Star.

The pair decided to take action and since 2016 have been having monthly sex "training days".

These sessions involve time in the bedroom, where they rate each other's performance and provide constructive feedback.

Blessing explained all on a recent episode of the Real Fix  podcast.

She said: "It's pretty good all the time. It keeps things new and fresh.

"We never go through a session where I don't have multiple orgasms and he's not fully satisfied.

"Never have a session where it's like 'that was rubbish'.

“It's always exciting. It's always something we look forward to.

"Every time we make love, it's like 'that's so exciting'."

The couple claim they have two training days a month and are now are back to having sex as frequently as they did when they first met.

Feedback from one of their training sessions might include comments such as "you're sucking too hard" or "you're licking aimlessly" or "you need to be more gentle".

The sessions also provide a space where they can experiment in the bedroom and try new moves.

Also speaking on the podcast, Michael added: "I'll come home and say 'baby, we need to book a training session because I've read something in Cosmo and I think you might like it'.

"So I'll set the scene, turn the lights off, get the lamp on, candles, get a nice ambiance in the room and then I'll revise what I read and try it and then be like 'how did you like that?'"
