We don't know about you but the thought of spiders showing up in our home makes us shudder.
But it is, of course, inevitable and more so at this time of the year when the temperature begins to drop and we find solace in our warm cosy houses.
A so called Spider Season began earlier this month but luckily that should come to an end around the start of October, which is only next week.
However, if you're not a fan of having some extra eight-legged residents in your home, one mum thinks she has found the perfect answer, according to The Sun.
She's claims to have found the "best solution ever" to keep them well away from her home - and it costs just £10.
Posting on the Family Lockdown Tips & Ideas Facebook group, she wrote: "Can I just say if you haven't already tried this then you really must now.
"Do you hate spiders coming into your house? I have the best solution ever!!
"£10.75 for a 30ml bottle of peppermint oil from Holland and Barrett, couple of drops in my diffuser and no more spiders."
And of course she warned to keep said diffuser out of the way of children and animals.
The post has since racked up thousands of comments vowing to give the trick ago with some added their own tips.
One offered: "Eucalyptus oil on the out side of the the windows is just as good...and cheaper."
"Try cedar wood oil too, smells lovely and keeps all bugs away," another added.
