Mum hailed 'genius' over hack for getting breastfed babies to take a bottle

Some parents go down the breastfeeding route, while others decide bottle feeding is best for them. Others do a combination of both. There's truly no right or wrong answer, so long as the baby is getting fed.

But, any mammas who did choose to go down the breastfeeding route will tell you, that once your baby is used to nursing, it can be difficult to get them to feed in any other way.

Fortunately, one mum shared a rather unconventional hack for getting breastfed babies to take a bottle - but it's certainly not for everyone.

The mum, who goes by the name of Shishka Boobs on TikTok, showed just how seemingly easy it could be to get little ones to take a bottle instead of the boob. All you need is a pair of chicken fillets. Or chicken cutlets. Or whatever you want to call them.

No, we're not talking about actual meat, because let's face it, that's pretty disgusting. No, we're talking about the soft and sticky in-fills many people use to fill their bras - because what better way to encourage your child to take a bottle than to trick them it's coming out of a boob?

In the clip, Shishka could be seen cutting holes out of the centre of the chicken fillets, before placing the nozzle of the bottle through the centre of them, making them appear like nipples. Honestly, this woman is a straight up genius.

The mum can then be seen filling the bottles with milk and demonstrating by feeding her toddler, who she clarified is actually already weaned onto foods.

Nevertheless, mums on TikTok were impressed, with many hailing her as a genius and we couldn't agree more.

"This is GENIUS," one mum wrote, while another added: "Omg I need to try this with my two-year-old."

"There you go, now dads can feed the babies and mums can get some rest," another TikTok user suggested, while a fourth agreed: "Now you can leave the house and daddy can take over!!!"
