Mum gobsmacked as four-month-old son appears to tell her to 'f*** off'

Babies are always making gurgling noises as a way to communicate, but they often don't say their first words until they're around a year old.

Which explains why a mum was so stunned when her baby starting speaking at just four-months-old.

Charlotte Hazell, from Brighton, couldn't believe her luck when she caught the moment her baby Reuben spoke on camera.

But instead of it being a simple word like 'mum', 'dad' or 'cat' - he swore, and it had Charlotte in hysterics.

Charlotte was sat filming her adorable four-month-old son Reuben as he was laying in his bed next to her.

But when she tried to tell him that he had something on his face, she was met with what sounded like a rude expletive.

Despite being unable to talk yet, the seemingly unimpressed tot appeared to whisper 'f*** off' as she pointed out that he had a dirty nose.

Charlotte managed to capture the hilarious moment on camera, which she later shared with her friends and family.

After rewatching the clip over and over again, Charlotte is adamant that Reuben dropped the f-bomb.

She said: "Well it sounds like he tells me to do one...

"But whether that is what he was actually trying to say I do not know!"

According to the NHS, children will often attempt to say simple words at 12 months old, before beginning to put simple sentences together at around two years old.

What do you think baby Reuben said?
