Mum gets tattoo of drawing her son did - then finds out it wasn't actually his

Every day, a new trend or challenge on TikTok seems to emerge to keep us all entertained.

A recent one by @pigeonsandfries has seen people sharing and showing off their most "meaningless" tattoos, as people traditionally get inked with designs that hold special significance to them.

And we think we might have just found the winner of this trend.

A user on the social media platform, who posts under the name @th3victorygarden, responded to the original video with her meaningless tattoo.

In her clip, she lifts up her t-shirt sleeve to reveal a cartoon design on her arm of a 'pirate cove' with a giant rock that looks like a skull, next to a palm tree.

Her video has gone viral on TikTok (th3victorygarden/TIKTOK)

She admits that she got the design because she thought it was a cool picture that her son had drawn.

She later found out this wasn't the case.

"My son's friend drew this," the mum says in the video.

"I thought my son drew this."

She thought the picture had been drawn by her son (th3victorygarden/TIKTOK)

The video was captioned: "Kevin, age 6, crayon."

In another video, she adds that she's never told Kevin's parents about the tattoo of their son's drawing.

More than 200,000 people watched the clip, with it garnering more than 31,000 likes.

Hundreds of people also commented, with one saying: "Ok but it is dope."

Another wrote: "A painting my son made in art class hung in a frame in my kitchen for 10 years before he told me it wasn't his.

"The teacher handed them back wrong."

A third person replied: "That's hilarious."

Someone else added: "But that's somehow a better story than your son drawing it. That's f-ing priceless."

"LMAOO," proclaimed a different user.
