A mum has explained how she got her stained sofa shining like new by spending no more than 89p on a B&M cleaning spray.
Ellicia Williamson took to Facebook to share how she pulled it off, after she was quoted £50 to do the job by professional cleaners.
“Why spend £50 to get your couch cleaned when you can buy this for 89p!!! Can’t believe the result!!" she told the Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK Facebook group.
And it was all thanks to Elbow Grease All Purpose Degreaser, Ellicia, from Grangemouth, Scotland said.
“I just sprayed the full couch, took the covers off and put in wash for 15 mins 30° wash," she explained.
“I also use on my baby’s stained clothes, kitchen walls, cooker!!”
Ellicia's not the only fan of the spray either - with cleaning guru Mrs Hinch having praised it in the past for removing smudges from glass tables.
Other members of the money-saving group also praised the spray.
“This stuff is bloody fantastic” one wrote, with another adding, “I cleaned my sofas with it too!…FAB!!!”
Others were inspired to follow Ellicia's example.
“This has made me so happy we have the same sofa and a toddler who loves to make a mess. 100% doing this tomorrow,” one commented.
Another added: “Wow this is great! I have just brought some of this so will defo try on my sofas.”
