Mum furious after being banned from flying after putting baby's dirty nappy in bin

A mum has filed a complaint against an airline after a member of staff reportedly yelled at her and told her was put on their no-fly list after binning her baby's dirty nappy during a flight.

Farah Naz Khan was flying with Mesa Airlines from Houston to Montana in the United States when the incident occurred.

As reported by The Mirror, after heading to the back of the plane to change her baby's nappy, she was stopped by a male flight attendant.

Even though Farah had placed the nappy into a scented bag before disposing of it, she was reportedly yelled at by a member of staff who said that the soiled nappy was a 'biohazard'.

He then told her that he would like her to retrieve it from the bin, leaving her 'humiliated' and 'belittled' as she fished through the rubbish to find the nappy.

Soon after, Farah spoke to a second member of staff who told her that she had not done anything wrong by placing the nappy into the bin.

She tried speaking again with the first flight attendant about the incident, but he told the second crew member that he "didn't want to deal with her," so Farah decided to file a complaint.

Hours later, Farah says she received a call from the flight attendant, who told her she had been placed on a no-fly list.

"I recognised the voice," she told Today.

"He said, 'Due to a biohazard incident on the plane today, we've placed you on the no-fly list.'

"This made me very angry, because I suffered the humiliating experience.

"They are placing me on a no-fly list?

"I also didn't dispose of the diaper on the plane, even if it was considered a biohazard.

"I walked it off the plane and threw it away myself outside the flight."

According to Farah, the flight attendant started hurling abuse at her during the phone call, telling her: "You people bring your children everywhere.

"Don't you know that some people just want a peaceful flight and don't want to listen to your effing children?"

The airline is now investigating the incident.
