A mum has been left fuming at her neighbour after she complained about her "noisy" hot tub just half an hour after the family began using it.
The woman claimed in a post online that she and her family bought a hot tub over the weekend and decided to set it up on Monday morning to use it for the very first time, with her children enjoying a soak at around 8:45 am.
She then asserted that "within half an hour" her next-door neighbour came into the garden to complain about the noise of the machine - which she branded "an absolute joke".
The mum described her neighbour as "miserable as hell" and "nosey", but has stated she won't be using the bubbles in the hot tub at night in an attempt to keep the noise down.

In a Mumsnet post titled "Neighbour hates our hot tub", she claimed: "We only bought our hot tub yesterday and just set it up, the kids have been in it this morning from 8:45. Neighbour was round within 30 minutes saying she thinks it's an absolute joke as it's too noisy and she can barely hear herself think.
"She is so much younger than us but miserable as hell! She is quite nosey and is always on the street when any drama is going on with any of the neighbours, so I kind of expected it.
"Of course, I wouldn't put the bubbles on at night - as much as I’d like to - so I have told the kids only during the day. We will probably only use it a few times a week.
"Am I being unreasonable? What do I do?"
Commenters on the post were split, as while some told the mum to keep using the hot tub as long as she's "considerate" of her neighbour, others said she was being unreasonable to have a hot tub in the first place - as the noise they generate isn't ideal for living in a terraced property surrounded by neighbours.
One person said: "Just use it in the way of a considerate neighbour. Sociable times, don't get too loud, etc. Same as you would for anything you have in the garden really."
While another added: "It's your garden. There are lots of annoying things that distract us in other gardens from BBQs to trampolines to lawn mowers."
But someone else disagreed, stating: "I'm afraid I'm with your neighbour on this one. Unless you live in the middle of nowhere hot tubs are a bad idea. They're noisy and very antisocial.
"I would love a hot tub, but I live in a semi-detached house, so that's a no."
A fourth tried to see both sides of the argument, as they wrote: "Your garden, your choice.
"They are pretty noisy though. The constant hum, the bubbles, the loud talking because you can't hear over the bubbles, the children squealing, the music ... it all goes hand in hand.
"I don't have one, but have hired one a few times - just get on with it, but be considerate with regards to timings. So not early morning or late at night. Outside of that, she has no right to tell you what to do in your own garden."
