A mum of an eight-year-old boy called a woman "an angel" after she offered her money in Tesco.
The mum said she was in Tesco in Formby with her son when he wanted some Pokémon noodles - but she said she couldn't afford them and was waiting until payday next week.
But the mum was almost in tears after a stranger offered her money to make sure she could buy them for her son.

Writing in the All Things Formby Facebook group on February 14, the mum said she now has a "very, very happy eight-year-old boy".
The mum wrote in the group to thank the stranger again for all her help in Tesco and to return the favour.
The mum said: "I was in Tesco by McDonald's just now and my son was asking for some noodles which I couldn't afford due to me waiting for payday next week.
"This lovely lady, I'm sorry I didn't get a name because I was trying not to cry, offered me money to get my son noodles.
"If you are in here I am forever grateful and would love to get your info to get you something on my pay day to say thank you.
"I now have a very, very happy eight-year-old boy who has his Pokémon noodles.
"You are an angel - thank you."
People were quick to praise the "kindness" of the stranger.
One person wrote: "There are still some really nice, kind people out there. Thank you for your kindness."
Another person said: "That is so lovely. I experienced two acts of kindness last year by similarly kind people.
"I cried both time too. It really restores your faith in humans."
A third person said: "There are times when we all need to remember there are far more nice people in this world than there are bad.
"Sadly we only hear about the bad ones."
And a fourth said: "There are far more thoughtful and kind people about than we realise.
"Nothing nicer than doing something kind that gives so much pleasure to people less fortunate."
