Mum finds perfect kids' Christmas jumpers for under £10 - but urges shoppers to be quick

Many parents will now be thinking about getting their children's Christmas jumpers sorted for Christmas jumper day, and, with the ongoing cost of living crisis continuing to take a toll, won't want to spend a fortune. Fortunately, one savvy mum has spotted the perfect festive jumpers for her kids, with each one costing less than £10.

Ash Reid, from Glasgow, says she was left 'scarred' after leaving her Christmas jumper shopping to the very last minute two years ago, which resulted in her dashing around like Santa on Christmas Eve. Determined not to make the mistake twice, this year Ash made sure to get out to the shops nice and early, and has now shared her affordable purchases in a TikTok video.

In her vid, Ash, who goes by the TikTok username @ashreid_, advised her followers: "This is your sign to get your kids' jumpers organised now for the school Christmas jumper day. I'm organised in November this year, instead of running around like crazy two days before."

Praising the two adorable jumpers, which she'd picked up from Poundland, Ash continued: "They're not overly expensive, but they're also sort of traditional."

For her daughter Ella, Ash chose a sweet £8 red sweater decorated with a Fairisle-style pattern of Santa hats, gingerbread men, and reindeer. She noted that this cosy knit could be paired with a dress or black tutu, with a black fur gilet making the look 'a bit more girly'.

Ash also treated her son to a festive jumper, which was even more of a bargain at just £7. This navy jumper had a similarly jolly pattern of little knitted Santas and reindeer, and could be worn with blue jeans and a shirt underneath. Ash advised there were also adult-sized versions for any grown-ups wanting to join in on the fun.

The thrifty mum encouraged her followers: "They're in stock just now so I would definitely go and grab them while you can."
