Mum discovers £1 miracle spray that gets stubborn stains out of school shirts

A mum has shared a £1 cleaning hack which transforms grubby school shirts to look like new.

Belinda Earp was at her wits' end trying to keep her six-year-old son's mucky school shirts clean - even soaking them four hours to get rid of stubborn stains.

But the fed-up mum just couldn't get them clean and white - until she tried Elbow Grease  - a £1 cleaning spray used to tackle grease and oil.

Another mum used it on her trainers and said the results were amazing. (Facebook)

Posting on Hinch Army Cleaning Tips on Facebook , Belinda said she has all but scrapped scrubbing, thanks to the miracle spray.

She said: "I'm sorry I'm probably really late to the party but this stuff is AMAZING!

"After soaking my six-year-old school t-shirts for hours the marks were still visible..... So I used this and with minimal scrubbing they're back white again!!!! Booommmmmm mommy winning over here!"

According to Google , Elbow Grease is "formulated to remove grease and oil in all situations.

"It is ideal for removing grease spots from fabrics and porous materials, for removing grease from kitchen surfaces and for only cleaning oily surfaces such as engines and machinery."

Elbow Grease can be bought from supermarkets for just £1 (Belinda Earp)

And other mums couldn't agree more.

One user said: "I used this on my clothes for stains it's fantastic."

"I love it just sprayed some on my jumper then popped in the wash," said another.

While others said it was great for removing other household stains, claiming theres nothing Elbow Grease can't do.

One woman who works as a cleaner, said: "Also great for mirrors that are covered in hairspray ( I’m a cleaner ) spray wipe, is there nothing this magic can’t do."

Another said: "My son got blood all over his white material trainers came up looking new."

"I did my white leather converse the other day and it worked a treat! Used a small toothbrush and a scouring sponge, wiped over with kitchen roll," added another.

One mum even claimed the wonder spray has "changed her life."

The spray costs just  £1 and is available from most supermarkets as well as Home Bargains, B&M and some pound stores.
