Bruce Wayne might be a billionaire with vast sums of cash to spend on his crime-fighting toys, but mum Sonia Sibley has managed to create a Batman bedroom for her son on a tiny budget.
The 32-year-old from Plymouth spent just £66 transforming the space - and her son is made up with the final effect.
“My little boy was begging for a Batman room, so as I haven't got much money I decided to paint it myself as it would be a lot cheaper," she told told money-saving website LatestDeals.co.uk .
Sonia, who works as a cleaner, was also unconvinced the shop-bought options would even work.

"I looked on Google for Batman rooms and realised that I could buy transfers but his wall is not great so they would never stick," she said. "So I decided to draw it!"
"I bought a ruler for £2.35 and I went to Homebase to buy tester pots for £5. I started to draw an outline with a pen although I was scared at how it would turn out," Sonia said.
“I did it during the day while my boy was at school and then worked nights to finish it. "

Once the walls were done, it was time to find accessories for complete the effect.
"I bought the bedding and rug off eBay for £21 and got the cushions from a reuse centre for £2," Sonia said.
"I then got his lamp, throw, lampshade and plant for £24 at B&M, and his clothes rack was £12 from Screwfix to put all his fancy dress items on."

“My tip to people would be - if you draw something in your mind and it looks good then go for it as you have nothing to lose," Sonia said.
"Why spend lots of money when you can do things with time and love?”
After all, it's not being done to wow the designers, it's being done for your family - and there's only one opinion that matters.
“I know it's not perfect but it was cheap and every time he now goes into his room he will always know that Mummy drew his Batman and it was done with love," Sonia said.
"When Vinnie first saw the room he literally lit up the room with his smile and said ‘Mummy, I love it and I love you’."
