Splashing out for a new kitchen can be really expensive so lots of us end up putting up with cupboards and worktops we don't really like.
But one mum managed to transform hers for just £38 with a few impressive hacks and tricks.
Andrea Shortt's old-fashioned wooden cabinets are now trendy and modern, and all she needed was a bit of paint and some bits she bought on eBay.
The work took just two days and she's understandably delighted with the results.
She started with the cupboard doors, removing the old handles and applying primer and grey paint from B&Q. She did one coat and left it to dry overnight.

The next day she did another coat and waited it for it to dry.
The primer was £12 and the Delaware Matt paint set her back £18.
Andrea found the perfect handles on eBay, costing just £7.99 for a box of 20.
She posted photos of her work on the Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains , and was inundated with comments from impressed members.

She wrote: "Here is my before and after pictures of my kitchen.
"Both paint and primer was from B&Q. It does say the paint is self-priming, however I used a primer and one coat of paint. And new handles bought from eBay.
"Took me 2 days. First day primer and left to dry over night, second day applied the colour and new handles. I also painted the insides of the cupboards."
One member of the group wrote: "Wow. Looks so much better! How a touch of paint can change everything."
