Mum calls for "codger curfew" to ban pensioners from shopping at busy times

A cheeky mum has called for a "codger curfew" on pensioners from supermarkets during busy times.

Harriet Harper, says OAPs should be banned to allow busier people to do their shopping without getting delayed.

The mum, from Newchapel, Staffs, said: "Being a busy mum I’m forever dashing around, meeting myself coming back sometimes.

"A visit to the supermarket is an ordeal. I get delayed at the deli as elderly Doris requests one slice of tongue.

"Further congestion greets me in the aisles. Yet more pensioners peruse shelves looking for Hobnobs and Horlicks. Gridlock ensues.

"May I propose some kind of ‘codger curfew’ – say no OAPs to clog the aisles between 1-5pm. Then those of us that need to go at trolley dash speed no longer get waylaid."
