Covid-19 has brought about many unwelcomed changes in society, from widespread isolation, to face masks and social distancing.
However, it seems the least favoured measure - mask-wearing - came in handy for one student in the UK.
Taking to Twitter the boy’s mum shared an image of his facemask ahead of an exam that doubled as a cheat sheet.
It seems she was more impressed by his nifty hack than annoyed that he was using it to cheat on his exam.
In the post, she wrote: "The sheer ingenuity of my year 10's mode of cheating in his exam today made me proud of the smart thinking."
People on Twitter are hailing the young man for his innovative method of conning exam supervisors, with one writing: "This should go down in history books as part of the adaptation skills used by students of this pandemic.
"Mask checks being done by invigilators being introduced during these exams."
Another jokingly said; "That is kind of inspired…and totally out of order, of course (he added hastily)."
Even one woman, whose job it is to supervise exams admitted; "As an exam invigilator that's a new one. Will need to watch for that one again."
Some were a little less impressed, with one account writing; "If only they would spend this energy and brain power on *actually* studying!!"
