A mum has heaped praise on "kind and generous" workers at an amusement arcade who went the extra mile when her son accidentally left his favourite toy behind.
Helen Lupton shared the story on Facebook, hoping it would go viral and those responsible would get recognition for the heartwarming gesture which left her "blown away".
The mum had taken her son Blake to Pleasureland Amusements arcade in Whitby, Yorkshire, but realised when they returned home that his favourite toy, a purple sloth named Slothy, had been left behind.
Helen messaged the venue the following day to see if there had been any sign of the toy, but staff said nothing had been handed in to lost and found, leaving her little boy devastated.

"So we gave up hope of finding him," she wrote on the Family Lockdown Tips & Ideas Facebook group, "And told Blake that slothy had such a good time in Whitby he decided to stay a little bit longer. Blake eyes filled with tears and I felt awful.
"Anyway in the meantime I'm frantically trying to source another one and drew a blank.
"Then the next day out of the blue I got a message from Pleasureland Amusements to say that [they] had found him.
"I was so surprised and delighted and told Blake and he was so happy! I asked if they could post back as we were not local and they kindly obliged. Few days pass by and we get this back."
Helen shared heartwarming photos of Slothy, along with two new toys and three packets of sweets, sent to Blake with a message reading: 'Hi, we thought Pablo (as we called him before we knew he was Slothy) would get scared during his journey so we sent him with a friend and some snacks to share with you when he got back home safe and sound.
'So he didn't get bored we put a fidget pop in with him. Hope Slothy (Pablo) stays safe in the future.'
Helen encouraged people to visit Pleasureland in Whitby and added: "So much we hear bad news but this will surely brighten your day and make you think there is good, honest, kind and generous people out there!"
The post racked up hundreds of comments, as one wrote: "This made me cry."
And another added: "How fantastic the staff are there 5 gold stars for them."
