A Merseyside mum who recently installed a pool in the former bungalow she is overhauling is preparing to share tips with people keen to start a renovation project.
Lyndsey Gynane, 43, started on the property ladder with a doer upper in Huyton and is now transforming a bungalow in Cronton into a two-storey, four-bed home with three bathrooms, a cinema and games room.
Work is currently underway on an extension, although the family kicked off the project by converting a former koi cap pond in the garden into a luxury pool area complete with a fire pit.

Lyndsey is now preparing to host her own masterclass online for homeowners embarking on a renovation project.
She told the ECHO: "It’s something I’ve been asked to do over the past few years since I started my Instagram. It’s a way for for me to share all my hints and tips and talk about the things that most people avoid like budget and profit.
"I’ve taken into account all the messages and questions I get asked regularly to tailor it to be really specific and valuable to the people that join."

The session will include tips on cutting costs and budgeting, as well as how to get started and what to expect from a renovation project.
Lyndsey, who has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, hopes that by the end of the masterclass people will "know exactly what they need to do" when it comes to planning, budgeting and project managing a property.
She has learnt a lot from her renovation experiences. Lyndsey added: "Patience is key. Expect to have delays and set backs. Understand you may have to make compromises along the way.
"Don’t follow the trends. You need to renovate your space for your actual life, not the life you think you should have."
