Mum beats son with belt and screams ‘I’ll break your face’ as teacher looks on

This is the horrifying moment a mother beats her 7-year-old son with a belt and screams in his face at a primary school.

The unnamed woman is seen dragging the child by the arm and thrashing him as she forces him to apologise for ‘disrespecting’ his teacher at Homer Drive Elementary School in Beaumont, Texas.

The woman’s physical and verbal attack was witnessed by two staff members - one believed to be his teacher - who appeared to do nothing to stop it.

The shocking footage shows the woman dragging the child by his collar out of the building where she removes her own belt, doubles the child over and strikes.

The boy desperately tries to say he is "sorry" but begins to stutter as his mother strikes him with the belt again.

The mother's violent attack is witnessed by two adults who appear to be school staff (DRN)

She then drags him towards his teacher, points at her and says: "Talk to her. Now, what you tell her?"

The furious mother bends down so that she is nose to nose with her child as she screams in his face: "Are we gonna have this problem anymore? No? Cos if I’ve gotta come back up here, it’s me and you n*. It’s me and you. Everything gone, n*. No outside, no nothing."

Pointing at his teacher, she yells: "If this m**** woman calls me again, I’ma breaking your f** face. Do you hear me?"

The frightened child whimpers back: "Yes, mom."

After the attack the woman tells the staff to ‘have a nice day’ before walking away.

The woman has not been identified nor has the boy but the School and Child Protective Services confirmed an investigation was launched yesterday.

The horrific footage, thought to have been filmed by someone accompanying the mother, was posted on Facebook on Wednesday and viewed more than 500,000 times before it was deleted.

A Beaumont Independent School District spokeswoman has confirmed the incident is now under criminal investigation.

 .

She told KFDM: "Beaumont ISD administration has been made aware of an incident at Homer Drive Elementary. Administrators contacted the appropriate enforcement agencies and the matter is now under criminal investigation."

District Attorney Bob Wortham said investigators have told him the child does not have any bruising following the attack.

The school principal Belinda Richardson-George has condemned the vile attack in a statement on Facebook: "We do not condone this type of behaviour from our parents, teachers and/or scholars. This matter is under investigation."
