Mum baffled after buying Bourbon biscuits from Aldi with absolutely no cream in it

A mum was stunned when she opened a pack of Bourbon biscuits from Aldi to find there was absolutely no chocolate cream in it.

Amanda Fisher, 43, bought the  Aldi  own-brand pack at the budget supermarket for her seven kids but was baffled when she discovered the first one she picked had no buttercream between the two chocolate biscuits.

She quickly went for another biscuit to find that it also was missing a cream and so was the rest of the 200g packet.

The 43-year-old mum initially became suspicious that her children had licked the cream out but then realised it must have been a faulty packet.

Amanda told The Sun : "All of them had no cream inside. At first my daughter thought my son had licked all of the cream out of them."

"I was surprised when I opened the packet and saw the first one. I decided to get the rest out and they were all the same."

She shared pictures of her biscuits on Facebook which led to friends commenting "it's like being robbed in your own home".

Aldi has since offered to replace the 20p item for Amanda after she rang them to complain.
