Mum asks daughter not to eat ice cream - and little girl's reaction is priceless

Have you seen that new patience challenge online, the one where parents give their kids a treat, but tell them they can't eat it just yet?

Usually the mum or dad places the item in front of their little one and tells them to wait until they come back.

It's a funny trend that sees how much restraint your child has - or whether they just can't help themselves.

One mum recently tried this out with her daughter and the little girl's response to the task was absolutely priceless.

A tub of ice cream was placed on the table in front of four-year-old Ceci Grace Goggin from Atlanta, Georgia, and the child was told she wasn't allowed to eat it just yet, she had to wait.

Her mum, Beth, proceeded to leave the room, but had set up a camera to see what her daughter got up to in her absence.

It turned out little Ceci decided to strike up a 'conversation' with the ice cream.

She asks the tub "So how you doing?" then reminds the ice cream (and presumably herself) that her mum said she had to wait.

The child then adorably pretends to lick the ice cream, before bursting into song - singing a track by Pink.

At the end of the video, she is so excited for Beth to return so she can tuck into the ice cream.

Her mum said: "Ceci did not actually lick it to my knowledge, I looked and didn't see any licks.

"She is a very outgoing child who loves Pink and knows the worlds to a lot of her songs.

"I did this because I was curious to see if my daughter had the patience, I am going to try it again with an iPad in front of her."
