The bodies of a mother and son who died in 'unexplained' circumstances were found on Thursday evening.
Last night police officers were called to a home in Carmarthen, Wales at around 6pm.
Inside the property they found the bodies of Gwendoline Christine Bound and her son John David Bound, Wales Online reported.
In a statement, their family said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John David Bound and Gwendoline Christine Bound.
“The family wish for their privacy to be respected in their time of grief.”
The coroner has been informed of their deaths.
Dyfed-Powys Police cordoned off part of the High Street in the Abergwili area of town on Thursday night.
They remained outside the property on Friday.
Police are investigating the deaths, which are currently being treated as 'unexplained'.
