A mum and daughter have shed more than 90lbs between them.
Debbie Shaw, 52, and Becca Allen, 25 from Huddersfield, have both completely transformed their eating habits and their lives after embarking on a diet and lifestyle change in September 2018.
The pair have been attending their local WW (the new Weight Watchers) Wellness Studio at St Patrick’s Catholic Centre in Huddersfield together.
Becca, who has managed to lose an impressive 51lbs, puts her achievement down to a combination of a vegan WW diet and frequent exercise - including hula hooping, reports Huddersfield Live.
“Looking at photos from summer made me realise how much weight had crept on,” Becca admits.
Becca says that with her new lifestyle, there is no need to banish snacking so long as you stay sensible.
She added: “It’s all about making good choices.
“WW has given us great confidence and now the pleasure of being three dress sizes smaller.
“Never did I think I would be able to lose the weight.”
Debbie, who lost 43lbs on WW, says she feels fitter and happier after losing the weight.
Wellness Coach at the studio, Lisa Cartman-Kenny, 46, from Halifax, was keen to stress the strong bond between the pair.
She said: “I’m so proud of Becca and Debbie’s success,
“It is such a fantastic achievement for both of them in such a short period of time.
“They both attend vegan festivals, although Debbie is not a vegan, to really help each other and embrace it.”
