Mum and daughter dogs Shadow and Savanagh looking for their Glasgow forever home

Glasgow Dogs Trust's Rehoming Centre in Uddingston is on the lookout for new homes for some of the amazing dogs in their care.

And among them are two recent arrivals in the form of adorable Alaskan malamute mother and daughter Shadow and Savanagh.

The pair are inseparable best friends and looking for an owner who has experience with their breed or similar and someone who can physically manage them as they are strong girls.

Although they are super friendly and get on well with other dogs, they are happiest when they are with each other, and can live with children over the age of 12.

And as big fans of walkies and exploring, they would benefit from an active owner that can take them on some adventures, and will need to have direct access to their own secure garden with a fence to give them somewhere safe to burn off energy.

Shadow has recently had surgery to remove an eye so the pair are staying at the Rehoming Centre until she has fully recovered, but that hasn't stopped Glasgow Dogs Trust from launching the search for a suitable home for her and daughter Savanagh.

Anyone who may be interested in adopting the pair can visit the Glasgow Dogs Trust website HERE
