Mum, 36, goes missing with one-year-old son as police launch desperate hunt in Surrey

A mum has gone missing with her one-year-old baby son.

Surrey Police have launched an appeal after Almira Aljkanovic and the unnamed little boy disappeared.

The 36-year-old's family are concerned for her safety after last seeing her earlier on Monday (June 7).

She has been described as a white woman with blonde hair, reports SurreyLive.

She was last seen wearing a white top with blue dots and blue trousers.

Almira is from the Guildford area and it is thought she will be travelling by foot or public transport.

At around 8pm, the force's Twitter page posted: "Can you help us find missing Almira who is missing from #Guildford with her 12 month baby?"

Anyone with any information about her whereabouts are asked to contact Surrey Police as soon as possible.

Those with information are asked to contact the police via Webchat at surrey.police.uk quoting reference number P21120917.
