A mum has shared photos of her bruised and battered face after she was attacked by two women 'for giving them eye contact' in a nightclub.
Kara Worthington was followed and then assaulted by the pair as she made her way to get a taxi home in Nottingham city centre on Sunday at 4.30am.
The 22-year-old says she was confronted by a woman with blonde hair and another with brown hair who proceeded to punch and kick her causing her to fall to the floor.
She told Nottinghamshire Live: "As I was leaving the club, the girls clocked on that I was on my own.
"They followed me down the road.
"They then confronted me and said that I had basically given them eye contact - looked at them earlier on in the night in the club.

"The next minute someone just flies out a punch in my face, I went flying back onto my head and hit my head on the floor.
"The blonde one then walks around me, kicks me in the face whilst I'm on the floor, then the one with brown hair then kicks me in my leg and all you can hear me shouting is that 'I've got a two-year-old, stop'.
"Then people gathered around - not many people probably about two - and dragged them off me."
The incident was said to last about 40 seconds.
Ms Worthington had enjoyed a night out with four friends but found herself on her own while leaving Arriba after they went home.
"I've been to the doctors so I've got a few injuries from it," she added.
"I'm suffering really badly at the moment still with headaches . I've got bruising on my head where I got kicked and then I fell back.
"I've got a sprained wrist as well."

Ms Worthington also said she has been left shaken, adding: "It puts me off even going outside my front door. I have not left the house since. Other than the nursery run.
"Other than that since then I have not left my house at all."
A police spokesman said: "Officers are appealing for information after a 22-year-old woman was assaulted by two women.
