The family of a 21-year-old mum who suffered a series of life-changing injuries following a car crash fear she may never fully recover.
Sinead Williams was taken to the University Hospital of Wales (UHW) in Cardiff after a crash on the A48 in Swansea in the early hours of Thursday, August 12.
South Wales Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service and Wales Air Ambulance were all called to the scene and the road was closed for several hours between Pontlliw and A4240 Gorseinon Road.

Sinead's cousin Kimberley Andrews, speaking on behalf of the family, said Sinead was in a coma for three weeks and needed numerous operations and blood transfusions to save her life.
"She came out of intensive care yesterday (Wednesday) but is still in a critical condition as she's suffered damage to many of her internal organs," Kimberley said.
"It's just been awful for the whole family. Her daughter, Lexi, has just turned two and her mum, Lindsey Andrews, has had to stop working to after her."

Sinead, from Pontarddulais, who turned 21 while desperately ill in hospital, also suffered two broken legs and a broken arm in the accident which happened shortly after 4am.
A man in the same car was also taken to Morriston Hospital in Swansea where he is recovering from his less serious injuries.
Kimberley has set up a GoFundMe page in the hope of raising as much money as possible for travel costs between Swansea and UHW, as well as Lexi's care. The family want to give half of the donations to the Welsh Blood Service. To donate please go here.
"Sinead is a very happy, quiet person and this whole incident has devastated the family. They don't know yet what help she's going to need when she comes home - this is going to be a long process of rehabilitation.
"Sinead's mum is really keen to raise awareness of donating blood after what happened. Our body holds about 10 units of blood, but Sinead has needed 140 units altogether since she's been in hospital. If it wasn't for them she wouldn't be here today.
"They say she's not going to make a full recovery, but you never know."
