Multiple workers in a large Tesco warehouse have tested positive for Covid-19.
The distribution centre is in the Deans area of Livingston, West Lothian and is two million square foot centre - the size of 712 tennis courts.
It supplies 318 stores across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northeast England, and sees around 3.6 million boxes of produce pass through its doors each week.
The infected workers are now in quarantine and their families have been informed.
The warehouse operates 364 days a year and employs around 1,800 people, The Mirror reports.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, a Tesco spokesperson said: "The small number of colleagues that have tested positive for Covid-19 at our Livingston Distribution Centre are self-isolating and their close contacts have been informed.
"We take the health and safety of our colleagues extremely seriously and are working closely with public health authorities.
"We have measures in place to ensure colleagues stay 2m apart throughout our centres and hand-sanitiser, masks, gloves and visors available to all colleagues.”
The warehouse has 70 twelve-metre high aisles.
The coronavirus cluster at the Tesco distribution centre follows a large-scale outbreak at the 2 Sisters food processing plant in Coupar Angus.
The number of cases connected to the chicken factory outbreak reached 201 on September 2.
Of those, 174 were factory workers and a further 27 were community contacts.
