A street record $1.795 million result was set with the strong auction sale of a custom-designed residence at 5 Mirral Crescent in New Lambton last Saturday. The four-bedroom home was marketed by Todd Mason, of McGrath New Lambton, with a guide of $1.45 million to $1.55 million. There were three registered bidders at auction last Saturday with 46 bids placed before the property was secured by New Lambton residents.
Another street record came when a renovated four-bedroom home at 4 Jefferson Street, Adamstown marketed by Mathew Iuliano with a guide of $1.1 million to $1.2 million sold for $1.43 million with reportedly over 20 registered bidders.
Robinson Property's Mike Flook sold a three-bedroom home at 52 Morgan Street, Merewether that had a guide of $1.4 million for $1.475 million. On Saturday, he has a three-bedroom house at 58 Merewether Street in Merewether going under the hammer at 4.30pm with a guide of $1.5 million.
Movable have two auctions on Saturday. Competitive bidding is expected for 28 Grove Street, Waratah (10am). It has a guide of $600,000. At 11am, 9 March Street, Kotara goes to auction with a guide of $695,000.
Belle Property have nine auctions this weekend. Over 120 groups have inspected 16 Finlay Close, Whitebridge which goes to auction at 12.30pm on Saturday with a guide of $1.35 million guide.
On Saturday, Belle also have 40A Rowan Crescent, Merewether (10.30am) with a guide of $1.8 million, 5 Smith St, Hamilton South (11.30am) with a guide $1.6 million and 31 Tiral Street, Charlestown (2pm) with a guide of $650,000. On Sunday, they have 1B Ganney Road, Wallsend (10am) with a guide of $450,000, 8 Staveley Court, Lakelands (11.30am) with a guide of $850,000, 2/66 Dilkera Avenue, Valentine (1pm) with a guide of $925,000 and 115 Gipps Street, Carrington (2.15pm).
