Multiple shots fired at home in 'poorly targeted' bikie incident

Multiple shots were fired at a Canberra home in what police describe as a "poorly targeted" bikie incident.

ACT Policing said they received reports of multiple gun shots at a home in Dodds Place, Watson, about 10.55pm Saturday.

No one was hurt and police "believe the shooting was a poorly targeted criminal motorcycle gang incident".

"It is also believed this incident is related to a previous vehicle theft and arson matter," they said in a statement.

In that previous incident, police were called out to a vehicle fire on Karamu Street in Harrison about 9.15pm on Friday, April 17. Officers found a black 2018 Ford Ranger Wildtrack had been burnt out.

Police ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website quoting reference 6521422.
