Multiple people injured after skydiving plane crashes near airport

  • A Cessna 208B skydiving plane carrying 15 people crashed into a wooded area near Cross Keys Airport in Williamstown, New Jersey, on Wednesday evening.
  • All 15 people on board survived the crash, with three sustaining critical injuries and 12 others suffering less severe or minor injuries.
  • All victims were transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, with trauma surgeons triaging them at the scene.
  • The plane reported engine trouble shortly after takeoff, leading the pilot to attempt an unsuccessful return to the airport.
  • Federal and local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
