Children injured in WA school bus crash

Ten people have been injured in a crash involving two buses in Perth. (AAP)

Ten people, including two children, have been injured in a collision involving a school bus and a Transperth bus in Perth's southern suburbs.

Emergency workers attended the crash at Ranford Road in Canning Vale and extracted students from their bus after removing a door.

St John Ambulance said two patients had been transported under normal priority to Perth Children's Hospital, four to Fiona Stanley Hospital and another four to Royal Perth Hospital.

The driver of the school bus was removed on a stretcher.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
