Multiple fire engines tackle two house fires in Roath, Cardiff

Firefighters were called to two house fires in one area of Cardiff on Friday night.

Crew members of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were tackling two house fires in Roath - one on Shirley Road and another on Stacey Road.

Photos from Stacey Road show a fire engine parked at the scene as well as a police car, ambulance and an ambulance car.

It is not yet known how the fire broke out, or any information on whether there are any injuries.

Meanwhile huge flames were seen coming from a home on Shirley Road.

Footage saw firefighters at the scene battling large flames.

It is not yet known whether anyone was injured in either fire.
